Youth Venture Project
Youth Venture Project
The Youth Venture Project is a not for profit, volunteer-led organisation that provides assistance in organising and supervising creative, challenging expeditions for young people between the ages of 15 and 26.
The Youth Venture Project is a team of volunteers, each with between 7 and 14 years experience in the 65 Reserve Infantry Battalion, Reserve Defence Forces. We assist in organising and supervising creative, challenging expeditions for young people between the ages of 15 and 26. We provide equipment, skills and experience, which allows groups to safely take part in the venture section of the Gaisce award. Our expeditions encourage young people to become involved in developing their interpersonal, social and communication skills and are designed to provide a sense of achievement, build self-confidence, and teach responsibility.
