Established two years ago in conjunction with the local comhairle na n-Og, the Limerick City Youth Forum acts as voice for young people in the city. The group meet weekly and organise events, campaigns and programmes informed by key issues of concern to young people. The group has twenty members and is facilitated by Limerick Youth Service and surported by key partner, Limerick City Development Board.
The Limerick City Youth Forum meets weekly in the Youth Service Lower Glenworth Street. We talk about organising events for young people in Limerick. We also discuss key issues of concern for the young people of Limerick.
